A: It is true that the word Nike is the Name of the Greek goddess of victory, and the swoosh on the logo represents the wing of this so-called goddess. However, since the company adopted this logo, it was never the intention to incorporate Greek mythology, nor was the adaptation of this name due to any significance that they held for the name Nike. It was purely a choice of the designer who was paid to do the designing and adopt a logo.
As regards the Name Allah, if it is established from authentic sources that they did indeed print the Name ‘Allah’ onto a shoe then it is compulsory to boycott this brand and not wear it at all. If this is not confirmed, it will be permissible to wear this brand of footwear or clothing. It will be better, though, to remove the logo from clothing where possible, of cover it up with another piece of fabric.
And Allah knows best
