Is ghusl necessary after vaginal examination

Q: When a woman goes for a gynae checkup and a vaginal probe is used to scan, will ghusal become compulsory or is it just the wudhu that becomes invalid? (The probe is inserted inside.) Also if ghusal was compulsory and was not done, do I have to make qadha of all the salaah read and would it just be qadha of the fardh or the sunnah and nafal as well?
A: The internal or vaginal examination does not make ghusl necessary, even if an instrument is inserted. However, when the probe is removed then wudhu breaks because it brings out impure moisture from the front private part. So a fresh wudhu has to be made. There is no need to make qadha of any salaah. Also note that when making qadha it is only the faradh and witr that must be paid in, not the sunnats and nafl.
